Coffee and Cocoa Tours: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at The Felt Estate, 6597 138th Ave., Holland. Bring the kiddos and grab a hot cup of joe or enjoy a nostalgic cup of hot chocolate as you enjoy a leisurely self-guided tour of the Felt Mansion. If you wish, you can participate in our holiday scavenger hunt. Join us for what will become a new holiday tradition as you experience the beauty and wonder of Christmas through theer 8, $8. Crane’s Drive-Thru Holiday Light Show: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Crane Orchards U-Pick and Corn Maze, 6054 124th Ave., Fennville. Get in the holiday spirit. Crane’s will open the orchard for a magical holiday drive-through light show. With a mile of lit winter wonderland, experience the orchard like never before and enjoy holiday magic from the comfort of your car. No buses, commercial vehicles, limos, semi-trucks, or vehicles towing trailers are permitted. Vehicles must be under 9.5 feet tall and less than 24 feet long to enter. Eight-passenger vehicle: $20.Nine-passenger: $25.

Featured Artist Exhibition: Julie Sanford and Jewelry Friends: Noon-5 p.m. at Ox-Bow House, 137 Center St., Douglas. Every month Ox-Bow features a new exhibition of regional artists and Ox-Bow faculty and alumni. We showcase a contemporary jewelry exhibition co-curated with artist Julia Sanford.

Busker Sundays: 1-3 p.m. at Fenn Valley Vineyards and Wine Cellar, 6130 122nd Ave., Fennville. What is a “busker?” The term was first noted in the English language around the middle 1860s in Great Britain. It comes from the verb “busk,” which originates from the Spanish root word “buscar,” meaning “to seek.” The goal is to expose new talent and provide a venue to hone the craft. Come join us and support local artists all while enjoying premium Michigan wine and hard cider.

Victorian Visions: The Cappon House through the Eyes of Bruce McCombs: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Holland Museum, 31 W. 10th St., Holland. The Holland Museum is proud to present an exhibition featuring a collection of 14 original watercolor paintings by the renowned local artist Bruce McCombs. These intricate works capture the Italianate Cappon House before its restoration. McCombs’ use of unique angles and photorealistic techniques reveals the Cappon House from a macroscopic level, encouraging viewers to look at the iconic home from new perspectives. In addition to honoring McCombs’ artistic talent, this exhibit celebrates the timeless beauty of the Cappon House’s Italianate architecture. Museum admission is $10 for adults; $8 senior adult; veteran and educators, students with a valid college ID and kids 6-18 $5; Holland Museum members and ages 5 and under are free; $1 museums for all (EBT or WIC card holder, $1/person, up to 4 per card).

Zeeland's Magical Christmas Parade: 6:30 p.m. in Downtown Zeeland, 21 S. Elm Street, Zeeland. It is a heart-warming, lighted parade, which is guaranteed to bring smiles to the thousands of spectators of all ages. Among all of the creative entries, walking groups & marching bands, the grand finale of the parade will be Santa Claus himself. The parade begins at the corner of Main Ave. and Centennial Street. It will then proceed west down Main Ave. to Elm Street. It will then turn south on Elm Street to Central Ave. Turning left (east) onto Central Sreet down to the finish at Central and Maple Street. Downtown Holland Parade of Lights: 6:30 p.m. in Downtown Holland. Santa Claus arrives in Downtown Holland during the Parade of Lights, escorted by over 80 floats, commercial vehicles, walkers, and marching bands...all decked out from top to bottom in thousands of sparkling lights. Come see why this brightly lit holiday procession on Tuesday, Dec. 3, is a holiday tradition for the entire community. The Parade of Lights will begin at the corner of Eighth Street and Columbia Avenue at 6:30 p.m. sharp and proceed west down Eighth Street until it reaches the Holland Civic Center Place at 150 W. Eightth St., home of the Holiday Kerstmarkt. The Parade of Lights is proudly sponsored by Gentex Corp. Be sure to look for them as they lead the parade with a special treat for all of the children in attendance. (Please note that there will be no other candy out during the parade.)

Cirque Dreams Holidaze: 7:30 p.m. at DeVos Performance Hall, 303 Monroe Ave. NW, Grand Rapids. “Cirque Dreams Holidaze” will convey the magic of the season with a Broadway-style production infused with contemporary circus arts. Every year, the City of Zeeland partners with a selected, local nonprofit organization to host a series of charming Christmas events downtown. Feel the Zeel of Christmas is a three-day series that celebrates the warmth and nostalgia of the holiday season in a small town. Visit downtown Zeeland and create loving Christmastime memories with your family. During Feel the Zeel of Christmas and you will find horse-drawn trolley rides, a visit with Santa, letter-writing for Santa’s mailbox, extended holiday shopping hours, in-store promotions, and more. Proceeds from trolley ticket sales will be donated to a local non-profit. Purchase Trolley tickets in front of 140 E. Main St. Trolley tickets are available by donation. (Trolley rides are scheduled every 15 minutes, beginning at 5:35 p.m., each night. The final ride departs at 7:50 p.m.) Trolleys fill quickly, so plan ahead. Visit with Santa at 156 E. Main St.

Netherlands “Klok” Runs at Noon: Noon at Holland Museum, 31 W. 10th St., Holland. See the wonderful moving parts of the Netherlands “Klok” from the 1939 World’s Fair. The Klok runs on the first Saturday of every month at noon for one minute. Enjoy Holland's heritage at three museum sites, the Holland Museum and two newly restored house museums; the Cappon House and Settlers House. Elegant second-floor galleries now house the museum's extensive Dutch Collection of Fine & Decorative Arts. On exhibit are 56 17th- to 20th-century Dutch paintings and more than 170 other cultural objects, from fine furniture, Delftware and silver to original Dutch costumes. The program of Christmas carols and anthems is presented by the college’s Department of Music and features more than 200 performers in historic Dimnent Memorial Chapel. The services feature a variety of Hope instrumental and vocal groups as well as the college’s historic Skinner organ. Christmas Vespers was first held on Sunday, Dec. 7, 1941. The timing, Pearl Harbor Day, was coincidental, with the program having been planned earlier in the semester. The first service included performances by multiple ensembles, as well as an organ soloist and an organ and piano duet, and ended with the Chapel Choir singing the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s “Messiah.”

It travels west to Harbor Drive, heads north along Harbor, and turns east onto Washington Avenue, concluding at Central Park for a magical tree-lighting ceremony. The Holland Museum is proud to present an exhibition featuring a collection of 14 original watercolor paintings by the renowned local artist Bruce McCombs. These intricate works capture the Italianate Cappon House before its restoration. Naturalist Craig Elston will lead all walks, sharing information about the natural features and helping you to learn to identify many species. All walks will begin from the parking area at the end of New Holland Avenue, east of 32nd Avenue. Each with a creative backdrop, 25 of the nativity sets are on loan from St Peter Church members. Accompanying each set is a unique family history or story. Ten artistic, out-of-the-box depictions of the stable scene have been created by area school children and their families specifically for this event.

The group will use the Center's Ojibwa-style snowshoes as long as there is at least 4 inches of snow. The snowshoes are intended for people ages 8 years old and up. Feel free to bring a sled to pull for the little ones. If there is not enough snow we will still lead a winter walk. Suggested age range: 8 and older. Guardians stay with the class.
