To say that Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park’s 2025 lineup for its popular, regional Tuesday Evening Music Club concert series contains eclectic musical twists would be an understatement.

The 11-show Tuesday series that runs from mid-June through late August boasts a mix of R&B, hip hop, electronic jams, Latin music, indie-folk, synth-pop, a cappella vocals, New Orleans brass-fired jazz, pop/rock oldies, soul-pop and Americana, with the Grand Rapids Ballet topping it all off on Aug. 26.

“Meijer Gardens is a beautiful venue and any opportunity for great music to resonate into the open Michigan air is a joy for musicians and listeners,” said Andy Catlin, a Detroit producer and electronic artist who performs and records under the moniker, The Lasso, which will take the amphitheater stage for the first time on June 24, along with New Mexico-based singer, MC and songwriter A. Billi Free.

The Lasso and A. Billi Free just released a new collaborative album project, “Holy Body Roll.”

“Audiences can expect one of the best blends of electronic music and live instrumentation out there — a six-piece band blending funk, R&B, jazz and hip hop, tethered by A. Billi Free’s amazing voice and lyricism,” Catlin said. “It’s like high-energy sonic therapy.”

It’s just part of a robust series sponsored by Ayers Basement Systems — with support from Meyer Music, WYCE (88.1 FM) and Corporate Live — that also features the return of Traverse City-bred alt-folk heroes The Accidentals, who’ll perform on Aug. 19 along with special guests Patty PerShayla, The Burney Sisters and Emma Zinck.

That show will require a separate $32 ticket for non-members and $10 for members. The remaining Tuesday Evening Music Club concerts are free to members, with regular Meijer Gardens admission fees charged to non-members.

The series kicks off June 17 with singer Sarena Rae’s “The Music That Raised Us” show that highlights music by Aretha Franklin, Ma Rainey, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone and Motown stars, performed by Sarena Rae, Avalon Cutts-Jones, Serita Crowley and Karisa Wilson.
